Welcome to my new website and my first blog post.

Today, I received the final edit of my manuscript which means my journey towards publishing my first ever novel is almost complete. But, as exciting as that is, it’s also daunting.

When I first challenged myself to sit down and write a novel I honestly had no idea how long it was going to take me, or quite how much I’d have to learn in the process. And although I’ve loved the journey, there have been many times when I honestly didn’t think I was capable of achieving it.

But as I’m now the proud owner of a complete and edited manuscript, it seems I was. I’ve finally achieved what I set out to do and written a novel. The big question, of course, is whether it’s a novel worth reading and I guess that’s something I’ll never know unless I put it out there for others to read. That’s the daunting bit.

Being a complete romance junkie, romance is my writing genre of choice and my first novel is a contemporary romance called Beautiful Temptation; the first of a two-part series about forbidden love.
